The SABC is excited to announce that we will have a sake stand at the Sakura Days Japan Fair at VanDusen Botanical Garden, taking place during the annual Cherry Blossom Festival. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the best of both Japanese and Canadian sake in a beautiful, culturally rich setting.

  • Sake Flight Experience: Visitors can enjoy a sake flight, sampling different sakes and discovering unique flavours. Your choice of sake gives you a taste of both traditional and contemporary sake styles

Than-you to the Restaurant & Liquor Industry Professionals who came to the trade tasting!

From 1:00PM to 4:00PM on October 23rd, 2024, the Sake Association of BC held a trade tasting for restaurant licensees, BC Government liquor store and private liquor store buyers and employees to sample our product line-up and ask questions. Principals and sake brewers from Japan, Canada and the US were on-hand during the trade portion of the show to provide in-depth information and feedback.

The Sake Association of British Columbia collaborated with Sake and Wine educators throughout Canada to further Sake knowledge and education. For those interested in pursing more depth through formal certified training, we present our current partners in the art of sake.

Lara Victoria, founder and Director of Cru Classe Hospitality Corp. is a WSET Certified Educator, she teaches all levels of WSET certification in wines, spirits and sake for Cru Classe.

Lara is also the Director of Lara Victoria Lifestyles which is a sister business to Cru Classe. It provides all creative lifestyle services related to hospitality.
