On Saturday, April 11th and Sunday April 12 of this year, the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival (VCBF) and the Japan Fair Organizing Committee hosted the Sakura Days Japan Fair at Van Dusen Botanical Gardens. The Sake Association of British Columbia was on-hand to present 6 seminars ranging from the History of Sake, Sake 101 and a Food Pairing session. Each session was sold-out and a couple of guests were squeezed in at the last minute. This was an opportunity for sake enthusiasts to learn about some new products that are not generally available through retail stores.
